I am a lifelong resident of Santa Rosa, born at Memorial Hospital to hard-working blue-collar parents. After graduating high school, I continued my education at Heald College, where I received my Associates Degree in Business Computing Administration.
I grew up appreciating the character and heart of the Roseland community, a community that has been an integral part of my life. I have witnessed first-hand the lack of attention and support the Roseland community has received from previous city leadership. The inequity of resources is apparent in the lack of sidewalks and street lighting that should provide basic safety for members of our community.
I embrace our community’s diversity as it is our strength and prepares us for the challenges ahead. It is time we have a community leader that will champion change, while fighting for the character and soul of this beloved Southwest community. I am this leader. This is why I am running in this election. I will be an unfiltered voice, the peoples’ voice, in the SANTA ROSA CITY COUNCIL District 1 seat! Most importantly, I have been a neighborhood advocate. I’m not waiting to until I am elected to take action. For years, I have been actively engaged in our community, working with and for neighbors like you.
My focus for a better Santa Rosa will be:
Dignity in Employment
Our working families need opportunities and protections.
Housing for All
We need to find solutions for our housing affordability crisis.
Modernize our policing, using community-based practices.
Roads and Sidewalks
Our streets need an advocate for the resources to create transportation equity.
Support our struggling businesses and protect workers and families.
Coordinate services that make sense.
Respect our neighborhoods, and house the homeless.
